I have Windows XP on my C drive and Windows Vista on my E drive, which is the default boot. I don't think it matters, but the C drive is a RAID5 array partitioned to C and D. E is a single SATA drive.
When I launch Notes after install, I get the following error:
_____________
cmd.exe
______
The procedure entry point SdbGetAppCompatDataSize could not be located in the dynamic link library apphelp.dll.
_____________
After clicking OK, Notes seems to launch and run OK, but the error recurs every time I launch Notes. To confirm the problem is with Notes, I reformatted and reinstalled Windows Vista on the E drive and installed nothing but Notes Beta 2 after installing SP1 and the other Vista updates. Same error.
When I install to the Windows XP running on my C drive, I do not have this problem.
I have not run into any other problems with Vista on the E drive.
I couldn't find anything else about this posted here. Unless someone recognizes this and has a work-around, I think this is a bug.
Thanks,
Colin
